First-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) burial detail conducts a burial at sea on the ship’s aircraft elevator 2, Sept. 17, 2022. During the ceremony, the cremated remains of 30 souls were committed to the sea in the Atlantic Ocean.
