Soldiers assigned to the 1st Battalion, 34th Infantry Regiment, salute a Soldier Cross memorial erected in honor of Pfc. Alyssa Cahoon Sept. 16 at the Main Post Chapel. Cahoon attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson with her identical twin sister when she collapsed during a training event and passed away five days later surrounded by her sister and Family.
