ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. – U.S. Army Master Sgt. Chiquita Youngblood pins APG paramedic Tim Richmond with the traditional “Stork Pin,” given to first responders who deliver a baby in the field, during a recognition ceremony at the APG North Fire Station, November 1, 2022. Richmond and five other first responders received the pin for assisting Youngblood during the unexpected delivery of her son, Noah, in the Youngblood’s APG residence on September 21, 2022. “[The first responders] faces will always be the heroes that saved the day and helped my son come into the world,” said Youngblood who is assigned to the U.S. Army 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives Command.
