Soldiers with the 1st Regimental Landing Team, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, provide suppressive fire during bilateral live-fire training with U.S. Marines from Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, during Iron Fist 23 at Hijudai, Japan, Feb. 24, 2023. The bi-lateral live-fire training was conducted to maintain proficiency in bi-lateral tactics in conjunction with maneuver elements during Iron Fist 23.
