Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan Greenert introduces Rear Adm. Ng Chee Peng, chief of navy of the Republic of Singapore, to his department heads at the conclusion of a full honors ceremony at the Washington Navy Yard in honor of Peng. During the ceremony, Greenert also presented Peng with a Legion of Merit award for his strategic vision and exceptional spirit of cooperation with the U.S. helping support the full spectrum of maritime operations in the Gulf of Aden, Strait of Malacca and South China Sea.
