HOQUIAM, Wash. — I Corps Commanding General Lt. Gen. Xavier T. Brunson swore in eight new recruits with the Oath of Enlistment during the Maj. Gen. Eldon A. Bargewell Delta Park dedication on May 20, 2023 in Hoquiam, Wash. During his nearly four-decade long career Maj. Gen. Bargewell earned over 40 medals including: The Army Distinguished Service Cross, three Bronze Stars with Valor, The Vietnam Service Medal with six Service Stars, as well as The Global War on Terrorism Medal.
