HOQUIAM, Wash. — The town of Hoquiam. Wash. Unveiled a statue of Maj. Gen. Eldon A. Bargewell during the Delta Park dedication on May 20, 2023.To conclude the park dedication I Corps Commanding General Lt. Gen. Xavier T. Brunson swore in eight new recruits. During his nearly four-decade long career Maj. Gen. Bargewell earned over 40 medals to include-- The Army Distinguished Service Cross, three Bronze Stars with Valor, The Vietnam Service Medal with six Service Stars, as well as The Global War on Terrorism Medal.
