HOQUIAM, Wash. — Green Berets from 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) raise the colors during the Maj. Gen. Eldon A. Bargewell during the Delta Park dedication on May 20, 2023, in Hoquiam. Wash. To conclude the park dedication I Corps Commanding General Lt. Gen. Xavier T. Brunson swore in eight new recruits. During his nearly four-decade long career Maj. Gen. Bargewell earned over 40 medals including The Army Distinguished Service Cross, three Bronze Stars with Valor, The Vietnam Service Medal with six Service Stars, as well as The Global War on Terrorism Medal.
