GALLUP, N.M. (June 15, 2023) Navy Reserve Sailors assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 18, based on Naval Base Ventura County in Port Hueneme, California, work to complete the finishing touches on a home built as a charitable contribution and training opportunity in partnership with the Southwest Indian Foundation. The home's construction served to educate Seabees in various practical construction techniques needed for mission readiness while fulfilling the needs of a community partner as part of the Department of Defense's Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) program.
