Van Fine, assigned to 1st Battalion, 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, demonstrates how to operate a tactical satellite communications radio in preparation for earning their Expert Soldier and Expert Infantry Badge (E2B) on Oct. 17, 2023 at Del Din, Vicenza, Italy. The E2B tests U.S. Army Soldiers' mastery of warrior tasks and are a fundamental part of the Army's method of building lethal, cohesive teams and expert leaders through difficult, realistic training.
