U.S. Army Spc. Isabella Tavares, assigned to 173rd Airborne Brigade Engineer Battalion, uses a calibrated compass in practicing spot reports with tactical man pack radios during training for the Expert Soldier and Expert Infantry Badge (E2B) at Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, Oct. 17, 2023. The E2B tests U.S. Army Soldiers' mastery of warrior tasks and are a fundamental part of the Army's method of building lethal, cohesive teams and expert leaders through difficult, realistic training.
