U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Giovanna Rodriguez, assigned to U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa, uses mil-retile binoculars in practicing spot reports with tactical man pack radios during training for the Expert Soldier and Expert Infantry Badges (E2B) on Oct. 17, 2023 at Del Din, Vicenza, Italy. The E2B tests U.S. Army Soldiers' mastery of warrior tasks and are a fundamental part of the Army's method of building lethal, cohesive teams and expert leaders through difficult, realistic training.
