ITHACA, N. Y. – U. S. Navy Capt. Scott Hardy, professor of Naval Science and commanding officer of the Cornell University Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) unit, welcomes NROTC midshipmen, officer candidates, Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP) members, academy midshipmen and cadets, and unit staff members to the 2023 Cornell University Invitational Drill Competition (CUIDC), Oct. 21. Nine NROTC units from the Northeast of the United States and all four military academies participated in the 43rd annual event. The units competed in military drill and athletic events this year. (U.
