U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Urunov Asadbek, a 734th Air Mobility Squadron aircraft service technician, guides advanced echelon (ADVON) equipment from a KC-135 Stratotanker onto a K-loader at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Oct 28, 2023. The equipment arrived with ADVON team members for the 101st Air Refueling Wing deployed from Bangor Air National Guard Base, Maine, to Guam to support refueling tankers and crew that will become a part of the 506th Expeditionary Aerial Refueling Squadron by replacing the 171st Air Refueling Wing, an ANG unit deployed from Pittsburgh International Airport, Pennsylvania. The 506th EARS is comprised of deploying Air National Guard units that complete 90-day rotations providing in-air fuel support for Bomber Task Force and other aircraft in the Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility.
