Diep Nguyen, DPAA linguist augment, and U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Nicolas Riley, DPAA lead medic augment, setup tarps over an excavation site during a recovery mission in Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nov. 16, 2023. Recovery teams use available resources to protect the integrity of archeological dig sites when heavy rain continues for multiple days causing flash flooding and mudslides.
