U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Nathan Fiorucci supervises helicopter insertion training on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Dec. 14, 2023. The training was part of the final qualification test of a Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques Master Course led by III Expeditionary Operations Training Group, based in Okinawa, Japan, who travelled to Hawaii to certify Marines with 3d Littoral Combat Team. With the certification, HRST Masters can train Marines to safely and effectively perform helicopter insertions and extractions, rappels, and other rope techniques.
