A U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 122, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, is being loaded with a Guided Bomb Unit 32 at a forward arming and refueling point during Integrated Training Exercise 2-24 at Camp Wilson, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, Feb. 7, 2024. A FARP extends the capabilities of rotary or fixed wing aircraft to allow rearming and refueling of the aircraft without having to return to a forward operating base. ITX is designed to provide large forces the opportunity to command and control their Marines through a live-fire program incorporating every element of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force.
