U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 352, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 122, MAG-13, 3rd MAW, conduct air delivered ground refueling and rearming of an F-35B Lighting II assigned to VMFA-122, at a forward arming and refueling point during Integrated Training Exercise 2-24, at the Strategic Expeditionary Landing Field, Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Feb. 7, 2024. A FARP extends the capabilities of rotary or fixed wing aircraft to allow rearming and refueling of the aircraft without having to return to a forward operating base.
