Captain Kimberly P. Toone, commanding officer Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC) delivers opening remarks and speaks about the depth and breadth of the command's impact to all aspects of operational medicine at the United States Naval Aerospace Conference (USNAC) Feb. 7. The event was hosted by the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute (NAMI), a detachment of NMOTC and was held at the National Naval Aviation Museum. The conference is intended to share ideas and knowledge in the community of aerospace medicine and is held bi-annually. NMOTC is comprised of six nationwide detachments that offer specialized medical training in the fields of aviation, aviation survival, surface and undersea warfare, expeditionary and special operations medicine.
