Naval Survival Training Institute (NSTI), a detachment of NMOTC, is comprised of eight ASTC’s across the country and a headquarters unit which specialize in training the pilots, aircrew, and service members who support other specialized communities in the survival skills and techniques to survive aviation emergencies. NMOTC is comprised of six nationwide detachments that offer specialized medical training in the fields of aviation, aviation survival, surface and undersea warfare, expeditionary and special operations medicine.
