CRS-I, (Common Robotics System-Individual) robotic systems are capable of ascending and descending stairs as well as traversing various terrains and obstacles. Soldiers must be able to have their robot ascend a flight of steps in order to become certified as trainers. SGT Sabrina Moore, 680 ENG CO CEC/I, initiates a climb utilizing only the series of cameras installed in the robot. (Images provided by the USASA Fort Dix Training Division /Steven Roussel)
