SGT Emily Coffey, 444 ENG CO, CEC/I, sends her CRS-I robot up a flight of stairs to observe and clear a danger area on the second level. These robots are lightweight, packable, unmanned systems, used for a variety of missions to include clearing obstacles, observation, and detection from a distance. Soldiers are being trained as ‘train the trainers’ and will bring these robots back to their home units. (Images provided by the USASA Fort Dix Training Division /Steven Roussel)
