A GRUFE (Special Forces Group of the Peruvian Air Force) Defense and Special Operations member fireman carries a simulated patient to the landing zone during a joint culminating exercise training event in support of Resolute Sentinel 2024 near Base Vitor, Peru, June 12, 2024. The exercise was a multi staged event that focused on calling in simulated close air support, combat search and rescue, and stabilizing simulated patients to be transloaded to the proper care facilities, consisting of members of GRUFE, Colombian Special Air Operations Group, U.S. Air Force Special Forces, West Virginia Army National Guard, and FAPAir Group 2 and 3.
