The soldiers of Team 16 of the Commando Summit stand triumphant atop Esther Mountain on Aug. 21, 2024. Team 16 of Commando Summit were responsible for climbing Esther Mountain and Whiteface Mountain as the 2nd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, attempted to send soldiers to summit all 46 high peaks of the Adirondacks.
