The soldiers of Team 16 of the Commando Summit climb the upper reaches of Whiteface Mountain on Aug. 21, 2024. Commando Summit brought teams from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, to conquer all 46 high peaks of the Adirondacks in a single day, a feat that had never been previously attempted by any organization.
