Team 16 of the Commando Summit, composed of soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 15th Field Artillery Regiment, climbs the upper reaches of Whiteface Mountain on Aug. 21, 2024, in the Adirondack Mountains. Commando Summit brought teams from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, to conquer all 46 high peaks of the Adirondacks in a single day, a feat that had never been previously attempted by any organization.
