    Spc. William Graff, an infantryman with Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain), 54th Troop Command, New Hampshire Army National Guard, sprints to the finish of the march during the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge qualification on Sept. 8, 2024, at the Northern Rail Trail in Franklin, N.H. The German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency or, in German, “Das Abzeichen für Leistungen im Truppendienst” is a decoration of the Bundeswehr, the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Germany, and is awarded to members of allied armed forces who successfully complete a series of physical and military skill tests.
