Army Maj. Nina DiPinto, a veterinarian from the 422nd Medical Detachment Veterinary Service, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, deployed to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, fills a syringe with antibiotics on April 8, 2008 before heading out to vaccinate and treat cattle, livestock, poultry and canines in Wianono, Gulu District, Uganda, during a veterinary civil action project. This is Phase 2 of a four phase project aimed at improving the overall health of village animals while training and educating Ugandan veterinarians.
