Local men try and round up cattle for vaccination and treatment on April 9, 2008, as a Ugandan army soldier pulls security. The Soldiers and Sailors with the 354th Civil Affairs Brigade deployed to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, are vaccinating and treating cattle, livestock, poultry and canines in Te-Tugu, Gulu District, Uganda, during a veterinary civil action project. This is Phase 2 of a four phase project aimed at improving the overall health of village animals while training and educating Ugandan veterinarians. Vacancies ranged from the treatment and prevention of encephalitis and rabies to the eradication of several forms of intestinal parasites. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jeremy T. Lock)
