YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 27, 2024) – Chief Electronics Technician Vicky Li, from San Francisco, assigned to U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), had her cover placed by fellow chiefs during a chief pinning ceremony at the Benny Decker Theater on Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Sept. 27, 2024. Thirteen selectees were promoted to chief petty officer during the pinning ceremony. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and routinely operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific.
