YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 27, 2024) – Chief Information Systems Technician Tiannaleigh Clancy from Tacoma, Washington, assigned to Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, was pinned by fellow chiefs during a chief pinning ceremony at the Benny Decker Theater on Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Sept. 27, 2024. Thirteen selectees were promoted to chief petty officer during the pinning ceremony. The U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and routinely operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific.
