Fort Bliss Soldiers from the 1st Armored Division and various other organizations take part in the Expert Infantryman, Expert Soldier, and Expert Field Medical Badge, also known as E3B, events across Fort Bliss, Texas, Sept. 19, 2024. More than 900 Fort Bliss Soldiers took part in the weeklong E3B event held from September 16-20, 2024. E3B put Soldiers through a series of rigorous and demanding events and tasks such as the Expert Physical Fitness Assessment, day and night land navigation, individual weapons qualification and familiarization, medical tasks, patrol lanes, and the completion of a 12-mile road march in three hours or less to earn the coveted badges.
Known as the home of 'America's Tank Division', Fort Bliss is one of the U.S. Army's premier strategic platforms. Events like the E3B strive to increase Soldiers' individual and collective readiness to increase overall proficiency and lethality.
