A U.S. Army Soldier assigned to the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division performs a medical procedure during the medical lane assessment as part of the Expert Infantryman, Expert Soldier, and Field Medical Badge event held at Fort Bliss, Texas, Sept. 19, 2024. The E3B consists of the patrol lane, the weapons lane and the medical lane. Each lane has 10 tasks associated with them and E3B candidates must undergo each lane successfully by completing the required tasks to earn one of the three coveted badges.
Fort Bliss Soldiers are consistently trained and ready. Events like the E3B align with the U.S. Army's priorities of being physically fit and lethal as well as developing the ability to sharpen the tools needed to fight and win.
