A 1st Armored Division Soldier gets evaluated on the proper procedures for an Advanced Anti-Tank Weapon System as part of the weapons testing lanes to earn the Expert Infantryman Badge at Fort Bliss, Texas, Sept. 18, 2024. More than 900 Fort Bliss Soldiers attempted to earn either the Expert Soldier, Medic, or Infantry Badge as part of the weeklong E3B event held from Sept 16-20, 2024. Less than 30% of Soldiers who took part in the weeklong event earned one of the coveted badges.
Known as the home of 'America's Tank Division', Fort Bliss is one of the U.S. Army's premier strategic platforms. Events like the E3B strive to increase individual and collective training and readiness designed to increase overall proficiency, lethality and unit readiness.
