U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Sabastian Herrera, right, meets with Sgt. Maj. Trevor Jackson during exercise Cobra Gold 2013 Feb. 15 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. Jackson accompanied Maj. Gen. Christopher S. Owens on a visit to the Marine base camp and spoke with Marines and sailors on the importance of multinational and bilateral training in the Asia-Pacific region. Jackson is the sergeant major of 1st Marine Aircraft Wing and Herrera is a mortarman with Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, which is attached to 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, as part of the Marine Corps’ unit deployment program.
