Sgt. Max Weinstock with the 1st Battalion, 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, deployed from Ft. Myer, Va., instructs members of the Uganda People's Defence Force on land navigation and terrain features prior to a squad competition at Forward Operating Location Kasenyi, Uganda, April 1, 2008. The UPDF soldiers are training with members of the The Old Guard during a 16- week course designed to enhance basic infantry skills among the force. The Army soldiers are part of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa. One key part of the CJTF-HOA mission is to help Africans solve African challenges.
