Norfolk Naval Shipyard Temporary Services (Shop 99) Electrician Apprentice Welton Barnes has been working at the shipyard for three years. He continues to enjoy his time here as he expands on his electrical knowledge. “I want to continue to work hard and use what I learn to support the fleet in order to establish myself more here at the shipyard," he said. "My plan is to retire from NNSY, so I need to do what it takes to not only succeed personally, but to ensure my teammates and the shipyard itself succeeds on their missions.”
