University of Florida's Research and Education Center, research assistant biologist, Serio A. Balaguera-Reina, Ph.D. holds two alligator hatchlings in his hand. He conducts research and collects data on Alligators natively located in Everglades National Park.
Collecting field data is extremely important to RECOVER (REstoration COordination & VERification) which is made up of a multi-agency team of scientists, modelers, planners and resource specialists. The information they collect and synthesize informs the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP). (U.S. Army Photo by Brigida Sanchez)
