Soldiers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, portraying opposing forces (OPFOR), take up a defensive position during Exercise Gothic Sentinel at Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Vermont, Feb. 22, 2025. Positioned behind a snow-covered trench, the OPFOR engaged advancing infantrymen, simulating a fortified enemy defense to enhance the realism of the training scenario.
