U.S. Navy corpsman Petty Officer 3rd Class Janet Campos, is the first American born Filipino in here family and is proud to be able to come back to the Philippines. "It makes me want to help more, knowing that this is part of my heritage ... I want to make sure they work well with the American," Campos said. "It's a great exercise I'm really glad I got to go." Balikatan 2013 is an annual Philippines-U.S. military bilateral training exercise and humanitarian assistance engagement.
