A ring representing the Purple Heart adorns the hand of retired U.S. Army Capt. and Vietnam veteran John Read as he rests it on his wife, Debbie's, shoulder during a reunion of Company D, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division held April 17, 2013.
