U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Ron Goon, from Greenville, Miss., meets Rushia Brown, a former professional basketball player, at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, June 2. "I can watch women jam just like the men," said Goon. "The men are more physical but plenty of women can light it up too." Brown played for the WNBA and international basketball leagues; both for seven years, United States in the summer and Europe in the winter. "I have seen her on the court," said Goon. "She can move into several different positions, from guard, to forward, then center." Brown was part of a five-star team traveling to U.S. military installation in Southwest Asia, to include: Elden Campbell, Rushia Brown, Tom Gugliotta, Semeka Randall and Shawn Bradley.
