An Iraqi air force Mi-17 multi-role helicopter sits on the tarmac before an aerial gunner and pilot training mission over Camp Taji, May 28. Missions over the camp involve various types of tactical landing maneuvers and procedures that simulate situations that may occur during combat missions. This training helps the IAF by increasing their defense capabilities and becoming a self-sustaining force in support of Iraq.
