Master Sgt. Bradley Martens, 770th Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron lead aerial gunner training instructor, supervises an Iraqi air force trainee as he performs air-to-ground scanning procedures over Camp Taji, May 29. The scanning done by aerial gunners provides the helicopter pilots with a third eye that enables them to see areas that are not in their field of vision from the cockpit. Sgt. Martens is deployed from Hurlburt Field, Fla.
