Mitchell is assigned to 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, which is attached to 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad.
