McKean is battalion commander of 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, attached to 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light), Multi-National Division - Baghdad. Abbas is the principle engineering advisor for the water project and serves as a bilingual, bicultural advisor with 4th BCT.
