    U.S. Navy

A Bulgarian sailor questions Petty Officer 1st Class Nicholas Heimsoth, gunners mate, about the path his visit, board, search and seizure team will take to secure the bridge during VBSS drills aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto. Bulgarian sailors are training with the crew of the San Jacinto in VBSS and damage control techniques and procedures. USS San Jacinto is operating in the Black Sea as part of a larger international team effort to improve maritime safety and security for a region free of trans-national threats built on cooperative security that uses existing political-military constructs.
