    U.S. Navy

Petty Officer 2nd Class Micah Chandler, gunners mate, and SN Omar Murrell explain to Bulgarian sailors how to anchor a safety line to a deck pad eye as part of a rappelling set up during Visit, Board, Search and Seizure drills aboard the guided missile cruiser USS San Jacinto. Bulgarian sailors are training with the crew of the San Jacinto in VBSS and damage control techniques and procedures. USS San Jacinto is operating in the Black Sea as part of a larger international team effort to improve maritime safety and security for a region free of trans-national threats built on cooperative security that uses existing political-military constructs.
