Silver Bullet 24 synchronizes multiple exercises over a 4-day period. The units are trained in sniper movement, observation, and fire techniques in complex mountainous and wooded terrain.
The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.

Deputy commander of U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Jered P. Helwig, hosted an all-call during his visit to Ramstein Air Base, Ramstein, Germany, Nov. 21, 2024. The all-call allowed joint force members of air mobility operations and transportation organizations to hear and learn from the general on how their daily mission ties into higher headquarters strategies and operational concepts.
Helwig took time from the all-call to recognized members from the 598th Transportation Brigade for their superior performance in support of the brigade. Sgt. Vinh Vo, a transportation noncommissioned officer, was recognized for supporting the brigade’s dynamic mission with exceptional training initiatives, as well as meticulous supply and maintenance management for all military requirements.
