    22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit

    U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Joshua Rudy, a combat videographer with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and native of Hampstead, Md., fast ropes off of a training tower at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 18, 2013. Rudy learned fast roping techniques as part of a visit, board, search and seizure course. The MEU is scheduled to deploy in early 2014 to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious missions across the full range of military operations.
